Every tool on this page is free to use on this site (Release Check is free for one file at a time, with a paid version for more). None needs an account, and each one runs on your own phone or computer, so what you type or open is not uploaded. Load one, turn the wifi off, and it keeps working. The packs on the pricing page are folders to keep, with guides, rules and records.
Check a message, a website or an offer
- Is this a scam text message? Paste it and check. Paste a text, email or WhatsApp message and see which common scam signs it shows, with what to do next. Read on your device only.
- How to check if a website is legit before you pay: a payment page check. About to pay for a quiz, a game, a dating app, a course or a free trial, or got a message asking you to pay a fee or tap a link? Check it first.
- Fake job scam check: look at a recruiter’s message before you reply. Check a message from a recruiter against the warning signs United Kingdom, United States and South African agencies describe, and see what to do if you already paid or sent documents.
- Investment scam check: test an offer for warning signs. About to invest, trade, buy crypto or take a loan? Check the offer for the traps regulators warn about, and find your country’s official register.
- Online course scam check: test a course or side-hustle advert. Selling you a course, coaching or a trading academy? Check the pitch for the warning signs consumer regulators describe, and see how to ask for a refund.
- Fake “verify you are human” check: before you paste a command. A page tells you to press keys and paste something to prove you are human? Check the writing or command for warning signs first. It never runs what you paste.
- Loan calculator: can I afford this loan or card? See the total cost. Before a loan, a credit card, buy now pay later or a big purchase: see what it really costs, what one missed payment does, how long a card takes to pay off.
Protect your family and your accounts
- Family Safe Word: make and print a card. Make a safe word only your family knows, and print the card. Use it to check who is calling before anyone sends money or shares a code.
- Set up a phone for an older relative: a checklist to do together. A printable checklist for call and text screening, saved cards, two-step login, a family safe word and who to call for help. Nothing is stored.
- Password habits check: six questions. Six yes or no questions about how you use passwords, set against National Cybersecurity Alliance guidance. You type no password, and nothing leaves your device.
- Flooded with sign-up emails? Find the one that matters. Get ready-made searches for Gmail, Outlook.com, Apple Mail and Yahoo Mail to find the one real order, payment or password email hidden in a flood of sign-ups. It never connects to your email.
- Find every subscription you pay for. List what you pay for, or check your own statement on your own phone with the wifi off: find every repeat payment, see the yearly total and spot overlaps.
- Cancel a subscription and keep proof. Write the message that cancels a subscription, keep proof that you did, and if you were charged again, write the message that asks your card provider to.
Keep your personal details private

- What not to paste into artificial intelligence: the list and a check. The list of what never to paste into any artificial intelligence, from passwords to health details and staff records, and a free check that points them out.
- Remove your personal information from people-search sites. Ask the companies that publish or sell your details to show you what they hold, or to delete it.

- Photo metadata remover: take the location and hidden details out of photos. See and remove the location, camera and date stored inside photos before you share them. The picture quality stays the same.
