Open the tool, disconnect, and use it. It keeps working, because there is nothing for it to connect to.

Read the code

Nothing is scrambled or compressed. Search any file for fetch, XMLHttpRequest or sendBeacon and you will not find them.

Watch the network tab

Press F12, use the tool on a real file, and watch nothing leave. The browser itself enforces it.
