A home screen shortcut is the website with an icon. What you type stays on your own device, and the tools work the same way they do in your browser.
iPhone or iPad
- Open utilforge.org in Safari.
- Tap the Share button , a square with an arrow pointing up. On newer iPhones it is inside the three dots at the bottom right of Safari.
- Scroll down and tap Add to Home Screen .
- Tap Add. The UtilForge icon now sits on your home screen.
Other browsers on an iPhone may offer the same through their own Share menu.
Android
- Open utilforge.org in Chrome.
- Tap the three dots at the top right.
- Tap Install app or Add to Home screen, then confirm.
If your browser offers it, the Add to home screen button at the top of this page does the same in one tap.
A computer
In Chrome or Edge, look for the install icon at the right of the address bar, or open the browser menu and choose Install UtilForge. In Safari on a Mac, choose File, then Add to Dock.
Make every tool work with no signal.
Open this page once while you have a signal and tap the button below. Every tool is then saved on this device and opens with the wifi and mobile data off.
What to know.
The names of the buttons differ a little between phones and browser versions. Some phones from an employer block home screen shortcuts. If you cannot find the option, the website works in the browser just the same.
This is a shortcut to utilforge.org. It is not an app from an app store, and it is updated whenever you open it with a signal.
To check that nothing leaves your device, open any tool, turn the wifi off and use it. It keeps working.
