Where to report it

Choose your country and what happened. This shows the first steps in order, then the official places to report it, taken from UtilForge’s Official Help page. Every place listed is a government, police or national agency unless the note says otherwise. UtilForge does not take reports itself, and what you choose here stays on your own phone or computer.

The short answer. Call your bank first if money has moved, then report it to the official body for your country. Pick your country and what happened and the steps appear in order.

How it works, in four steps

  1. Choose your countryThe list follows UtilForge’s Official Help page.
  2. Choose what happenedThe first steps change with the situation.
  3. Read the steps and the places to reportEach place links to its official page.
  4. What this cannot doIt cannot file a report for you, and the list does not cover every country. If yours is missing, see the Official Help page.

Your choices stay on your phone

The steps and the list are built inside this page from a list that was loaded with it. The page’s security setting (a Content Security Policy, a rule the browser enforces) blocks it from connecting to any server after it has loaded.

Why the first steps come first

The 2026 Oh, Behave! report from the National Cybersecurity Alliance and CybSafe surveyed 5,000 adults in the United States, United Kingdom, India, Brazil and Singapore. Across crime types, between 27 and 41 per cent of incidents were reported to the police, and the reasons people gave for not reporting included not knowing whom to contact, a loss that felt too small, and embarrassment. Reporting is how agencies see a pattern, and the first steps are what limit the damage. This page puts both in one place.

What this cannot do

It cannot recover money or file a report. Whether a bank can return a payment depends on the payment and on the rules where you live. The list of official places is checked by UtilForge and can change: use the link on each entry.

Questions and answers

Does UtilForge take my report?

No. UtilForge never takes reports. This page points to official bodies.

Why call my bank first?

When money has just moved, minutes can matter. A bank can sometimes stop or flag a payment that has not completed, and it can block cards and accounts.

My country is not on the list.

See the Official Help page, and search for your national police or fraud reporting service. Only follow links that go to a government, police or national agency.

Should I report if I lost nothing?

Yes, where your country allows it. Reports about messages that did not succeed help agencies see what is circulating.
