Before you paste a customer into AI.

  1. Swap the details first.

    Names, phone numbers, email addresses, ID numbers, account and card numbers, addresses and order numbers. Use Swap and Return, free at utilforge.org/tools/swap-and-return, then put the details back into the reply.

  2. Some things never go in at all.

    Passwords, full card numbers, medical details and staff records, even with the names swapped.

  3. Read the reply before you send it.

    The customer gets what you send, so the reply is yours, not the AI’s. Check every name, date and amount.

  4. Not sure? Ask first.
